In order to foster and incubate mutual help or assistance, we are providing assistance to the LNERCA in their quest to install elaborate gasolier lamps into 1894 built ECJS dining car 189.
Following a period of research, tentative design work has commenced using CAD software. The image shows part of a gasolier (b/w image) and first pass outline drawing and rendered model of the Argand burner.
In the event that any reader has photographs of drawings of contemporary fittings, I’d appreciate to learn as the new drawings require validation and checking.
